Architect Spotlight: Paulette O’Connell

Posted in Designers Gallery

Here at Colony Rug, we often place the spotlight on designers with whom we have had the privilege of collaborating with on various projects. Today, we would like to switch things up just a bit and highlight a local architect that we met through the South Shore Women’s Business Network – Paulette O’Connell, AIA, LEED AP Principal of OCO architecture::design, LLC.

Paulette O’Connell started OCO architecture::design, LLC in an effort to create personalized design solutions for homeowners and clients on the South Shore and beyond. Her area of expertise lies within a collaborative design approach, in which she listens to her clients and works with them to develop a design solution that meets their needs, style, and budget.

One thing that we admire about Paulette is her commitment to helping homeowners incorporate design strategies that improve their home’s energy savings, water efficiency, emissions reduction, and improved indoor air quality. Paulette is LEED certified and is fully capable of helping homeowners “go green” with a variety of resources to make their homes efficient while decreasing its carbon footprint.

As we previously mentioned, we met Paulette through the South Shore Women’s Business Network, which is an organization in which members make personal connections with each other and support each other in achieving professional success. We are thrilled to have met Paulette, and although we haven’t had the privilege to combine efforts on a project with her yet, we hope to do so in the future.
