Posted in Designers Gallery

We are proud to carry carpets and rugs from the best manufacturers in the flooring industry here at Colony Rug. One premier importer that we have in our inventory is J.D. Staron.

J.D. Staron was founded by Polish designer Jakub Staron in 2003 and quickly established itself as a leader in the flooring and textile industry.  Jakub is constantly developing innovative, original design concepts that turn into beautiful coverings that are true works of art.

Many clients love J.D. Staron’s Handmade Broadloom Collection. It is woven on a large hand-powered loom and is known for its unique texture that simply cannot be matched by machine-made constructions. J.D. Staron broadloom can be used as area carpeting or as a stand-alone rug since it can be cut to fit any shape or size specifications. The textures in this collection are rich and sophisticated, and J.D. Staron broadloom is available in a vast assortment of colors.

Another collection that is sure to please is the Hot Collection by Debra Geller for J.D. Staron. Interior designer Debra Geller has designed a collection of custom handmade rugs that are all about exciting colors, patterns, and textures that she designed to “excited the senses.” A rug from the Hot Collection will certainly showcase your sophisticated and playful sides.

The Mohair Moroccan Collection is also hot right now. Mohair, a wool fiber produced from Angora goats, is rich in quality and very sturdy. The rugs in this collection are thick and plush. Their designs are inspired by Moroccan textiles and are available in a variety of colors.
