Colony Rug’s June Installation Roundup

Posted in Blog

Colony Rug has had a busy month of June!  We are happy to have installed several beautiful rugs this month for clients all over the northeast – there was quite a bit of island hopping involved as well!

Here are a few photos of June’s installations.

Colony Rug  installer Justin Johnson traveled 4 hours to Lincolnville, ME to catch a 3 hour boat ride to Islesboro Island where he installed a beautiful Couristan wool wilton, Leaf Trellis II in the clients summer home.  Unfortunately he was unable to take the usually install pictures because he had to race to catch the last ferry home!  But the end result was beautiful; you’ll just have to trust us!

Another island hopping adventure had Colony Rug travel to Nantucket to cut several Dash & Albert wool runners, West Star, and install them on a staircase.  We also installed a beautiful wool carpet from Louis Dabbieri for another client.

Justin did an outdoor installation of our Colony Sisal product for a client in Chatham, MA.

Installer Mike Watkins installed a sea of blue that was hand sewed and customized in the field by Shane Furtado for a client on Nantucket.

We customized the width of this 3 foot wide hand loomed rug to fit our client’s staircase.

We finished up the month with another island visit!  We installed two custom fabricated stair runners.  Shane fabricated the binding to custom fit the shape of the staircases.

It’s been a busy month here at Colony Rug.  Follow us on our facebook page to keep up with our July news as its happening!
