How to Fix Curling Area Rugs

Posted in What's New

A curling area rug is not only unsightly it is unsafe! No need to put off fixing this pesky problem since there is a simple solution. Colony Rug carries a product called Rug Gripper. This product is similar to double sided tape. It is durable enough to stand up to foot traffic but it’s gentle on your floors. You simply cut the tape to fit the corner of your rugs and apply to the underside of your rug and pad.

Rug Gripper comes in two sizes. 6″ width for larger rugs such as a 9′ x 12′ for $25.00 and 2″ width for smaller rugs like a 3′ x 5′ for $10.50. Please click here to place an order.

You can eliminate the need for carpet tape by choosing wide binding when you have your area rug bound. Wider binding weighs more than narrow binding so the rug will lay flat naturally. Also selecting the proper rug pad or underlayment will prevent your rugs from curling up on the corners or edges.
