Spring has Sprung in Atlanta!

Posted in Blog, Tips & Trends, What's New

Atlanta was definitely worth the trip!! We were mostly excited to see color, color everywhere… In flooring, in fabrics, in pillows and poufs. The newest color trends seemed to be crisp and clean, bright jewel tones.  The two most predominant color ways that we saw were shocking pinks with oranges and brilliant blues with greens.

We were fortunate enough to make our way through 16 floors at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, perusing the showrooms that were overflowing with furniture, lighting and any home accessory you could ever imagine.

As for flooring, it would be safe to say, that in each showroom, “the flatter the better”. We saw flatweave products in…

  • Solids and Stripes
  • Ikats and Tribals

Ultimately, you can now find and have everything and anything in a flatweave or an indoor/outdoor.

Viscose seems to have taken a seat alongside shag in that they are both absolutely stunning products and will most definitely make a statement. All of our vendors and importers say “Everyone’s doing it!” However, with viscose, it is not appropriate for all areas in a home.

Be prepared for POUFS! They were the most fun find for us! Again, there was an assortment of poufs at each showroom and they’ll be soon appearing in ours! We also picked up several new pillow lines that we are extremely excited about. We will continue to update you on any and all “New Arrivals”!

Lucky for us, Atlanta proved to be the perfect preview for what is in store for us out in Las Vegas at Surfaces. The countdown is on, we leave in 9 days!
