What we saw in Vegas, won’t stay in Vegas!

Posted in Blog

Fresh back from our Vegas adventures and our feet are still throbbing.  We canvased the entire convention center and 3 buildings at the Las Vegas Design Market in 2 days with a full day spent in all day meetings at the annual International Design Guild (IDG) Summit.  We have some really exciting news to share with you from IDG that will be specifically targeted towards designers, which we are really looking forward to sharing in a separate post.

Here’s a sneak peak of what we thought was different enough to share with you and will be bringing back to Colony Rug!

Color – Turquoise

Everywhere and in everything!  (Contrary to what we saw in Atlanta, where green was the “It” color.)

In indoor/outdoor rugs and area rugs…

and even pillows!

Other finds that we are bringing back to our showroom were:

Patterns – Chevron & Honeycomb in all fibers

and Textures – Flat & Silky

Our 2 Favorite Fun Finds that we will be receiving soon-

Michelle’s favorite was a these two one-of-a-kind wool kilim ottomans that are going to make a great addition to our showroom!

Paige’s favorite was a resurrected “oldy but goody” indoor/outdoor polypropylene, Nantucket Basket in color Ocean.  This was the initial product that Colony Rug featured when Polys were originally introduced and was the inspiration for our custom Colony Sisal.
